PavlinNechev

Pavlin Nechev was born in 1980 in Pleven, Bulgaria and began to play the piano at the age of five. He studied in the class of Antoaneta Vodenicharova at the „P.Pipkov“ school of music. 1999 he continued his education at the Folkwang-Hochschule Essen, Germany, with Prof.Boris Bloch and Prof.Michael Roll. In 2007 Pavlin Nechev has received his Master Degree. From February 2008 he studies Master of Arts in specialized Music Performance at the Zurich University of the Arts with Prof. Konstantin Sherbakov.


Pavlin Nechev is a founder of the Trio Image (Gergana Gergova, Violin, Thomas Kaufmann, Cello) and since 2000 in the chamber music class of Prof. Andreas Reiner. He is a member of ECMA with Trio Image(European Chamber Music Academy). Pavlin Nechev gave his first concert with the Pleven Symphony Orchestra at the age of eleven and since then he performed in Bulgaria, Germany, Austria, France, Portugal, Switzerland, Slovakia, Turkey, Finland, Japan, USA. As a soloist and a pianist of Trio Imagehe played concerts at the 15th Chopin Festival Paris, Mosel Festwochen, Europe Music Festival, Beethoven Haus Bonn, The Best of NRW Concert-Cycle, Varna Summer Festival, Berliner Konzerthaus, Gidon Kremer's Lockenhaus Chamber Music Fest, Schubertiade Atzenbrugg, Lehmbruck Museim Duisburg, Luise-Albertz-Halle Oberhausen, Gürzenich Saal Köln amongst others. In 2006 Trio Imagegave a concert for the Swedish Queen Silvia at the Folkwang Museum in Essen.


Pavlin is a guest artist since 2007 of Ensemble Modern Frankfurt, one of the worlds leading ensembles for contemporary music, and has performed concerts amongst others at the Philharmonie Essen and at the Frankfurt Theater.
