April 12th, Bulgaria Hall Sofia. Upcoming concert of Quarto on with two of the most beautiful romantical quartets by Robert Schumann and Julius Zarebski (first performance in Bulgaria). Live TV-recording scheduled.

Concerto! music agency is going to release in the bulgarian music market the unique Music Cards - an attractive yet practical set of 140 double sided cards with self-teaching Q&A in Music theory.

The first news for 2010 comes from Switzerland, where a new important project is in motion. The Piano duo Benjamin Engeli - Elitza Djambazova comes to Bulgaria for concerts and performance workshops in June 2010. The two musicians will present in five different programs new piano music from Switzerland and Bulgaria as well as music from three centuries. Included is participation on Sofia Music Weeks and a studio recording for the Bulgarian national radio (BNR).

Pro Helvetia will kindly support the important international activities.

June 3rd - Sofia (Bulgaria), National Palace of Culture, Hall No. 9. - Ivan Penchev (Violin) and prof.Dimo Dimov (Piano) performed Beethoven Sonatas No. No. 1 D dur, 5 F dur and 9 A Dur as part of theit cycle "Ten Sonatas of beethoven for Violin and Piano" at National Culture Palace Sofia on June 3rd.

Elitza Djambazova came to Bulgaria and performed W. A. Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 9 "Jeunehomme", K. 271

May 20th - Haskovo (Bulgaria) with Haskovo Symphony Orchestra, conductor Krassimir Zahariev
May 21st - Bourgas (Bulgaria) with the Bourgas Symphony Orchestra, conductor Ivan Kojucharov

May 12th - Quarto closed the Dobrich Chamber Music Festival with a very interesting concert program, named "One, Two, Three..."Quarto"!

  2. L. V. BeethovenSonata No.1 for violin and piano - Ivan Penchev (violin) and Dimo Dimov (piano);

The Bulgarian-born and Switzerland-based pianist Elitza Djambazova is changing her residence for the concert season 2009/2010. She will live and work in the USA.

Elitza's current and future plans include duo performances with Jessica Mathaes (concertmaster of Austin Symphony Orchestra), solo recitals in Austin (USA), Sao Paulo (Brasil) and Sofia (Bulgaria) as well as musical collaboration with Im-Pulse.Eurythmy USA.

The young international Trio Image won the Best Contemporarian Music Interpretation Award of the 5th International competition Joseph Joachim in Weimar, Germany.
