She began to play the violin at the age of 5. She studied at the „P. Pipkov“ school of music with Blagorodna Taneva and with Prof. Mintcho Mintchev at the Folkwang-Hochschule Essen, Germany. She studied in the masterclass of Prof. Yair Kless in Graz, Austria.  She has also worked with Prof. Yfrah Neamann, Prof. Zakhar Bron, Prof. Rosa Fain and others.
Gergana Gergova is a founder of „Trio Image“, member of ECMA (European Chamber Music Academy). She performed in many European countries and in the US. As a soloist and with „Trio Image“ she has played at Gidon Kremers „Lockenhaus Chamber Music Fest“, „Schubertiade“ Atzenbrugg, Berliner Konzerthaus, „International Week Graz“, „International Laureate Days Katya Popova“, „March Music Days“ „Varna Summer“ amongst others. Gergana Gergova has been a a member of the „Klang Verwaltung“ orchestra Munich since 2006, where she performed at the Philharmonie Berlin, Wiener Konzerthaus, Philharmonie Köln etc. She is also guest artist of the „Münchner Rundfunk Orchester“ and „Deutsche Kammerakademie Neuss“. Since 2008 Gergana Gergova is concertmeister at the „Deutsche Oper am Rhein“ Duisburg. Gergana Gergova was awarded several competitions: winner of the “Folkwangpreis” from the City of Essen and the “Köhler-Osbahr” Competition in Duisburg in May 2008 with the “Trio Image”, 3rd Prize and Public Prize at the 6th international competition „Schubert and the Music of Modern Times“ Graz 2006 with „Trio Image“, 1st Prize, Special Prize and Grand-Prix at the international competition „Pancho Vladigerov“ 2003, „D. Petkov“ 1998, „Young talents“ 1998 and 1996, „S.Obretenov“ 1993 and ‘89 amongst others. She has made recordings by both national and international Bulgarian broadcasting, ORF, WDR and Bartok Radio Budapest.
